There are so many things that can heal the wounded heart...
Reading a good book, fiction or non fiction.Many women still read Jane Austen, her novels are well written but is a wonderful way to escape from the real world for a while, to get lost in fantasy, even though her characters resemble real people, that is why she is such a requested author in this age and era, she painted a real situation and real women problems.Also art is a good way to escape to another world, is good to heal, it illuminates one's soul.
Movies are also very important! They can encourage a wounded soul to strive in a struggling world, it can give hope and soothe the heart, that is why so many women see romantic films! Its a way to feel better and we do need to feel better in this caotic world filled with hate and anger.
Also dancing is a good healer, many people dance to create a new world, to feel better physically; and emotional dancing is a great therapy.
Many different sorts of art forms are healers.
Literature as well. Singing, music and sports too!
